VIV Symposium on 6th to 7th June 2024

We are pleased to invite you to a comprehensive workshop and seminar to develop, discuss and share insights for the further development of wind energy. The VIV Symposium will take place on June 6 and 7, 2024 in Bochum.

The Institute of Wind Engineering and Fluid Mechanics, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, together with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy supported by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (Project number: 493357786), organize the symposium which will bring together scientists, professionals and industrial experts, providing a platform for knowledge exchange on Vortex-Induced Vibrations, Bluff-Body Aerodynamics, Interference Galloping on wind turbine support structures and the related codification.

  • Venue: Deutsches Bergbau-Museum (German Mining Museum), Bochum/Germany
